Are you friendly, enthusiastic and looking for volunteering experience? The Global Lounge is looking for language volunteers to assist with their fun, informal Language Café.
Currently, we’d like to hear from volunteers in:
- Russian
- Itlaian
- Korean
- Japanese
- Portuguese
- Spanish
- any language we don’t currently offer.
At the moment, applications are closed for all other languages, including Mandarin, Hindi, English and Cantonese.

Simply fill out our online form, and we will be in touch once an opportunity becomes available. All students and staff are welcome to apply.

Why apply?
As a volunteer, you’ll gain transferable skills and make new friends from around the world. Your volunteering hours will also count towards your Bristol PLUS Award.
Language Cafés take place on Wednesdays during termtime, from 5 to 6:30 pm in the Global Lounge on the first floor of Senate House.
