At the Global Lounge we deliver a huge range of term-time cultural activities for students and staff to celebrate our diversity, experience something new, learn about other cultures and meet people from all around the world. We think it is important that our events are authentic, engaging and educational for the whole University of Bristol community.
To ensure we are delivering our events authentically, we are looking for volunteers who can share their own cultural experiences to make activities, decorations and presentations as accurate to the culture as possible.
We have the following upcoming event opportunities for volunteers:
- Burns Night / Scottish Culture Day – Thursday 23 January, 5 to 7 pm
- Polish Culture Day – Tuesday 11 February, 5 to 7 pm
- Vietnamese Culture Day – Thursday 20 February, 5 to 7 pm
- St David’s Day / Welsh Culture Day – Tuesday 4 March, 5 to 7 pm
