Why volunteer with us?

Volunteering with us is a great way to gain valuable experience, learn new skills, meet new people and help others. You will be given training and support to become a confident volunteer. We will organise fun mingles for you to meet other volunteers. This volunteering opportunity counts towards Bristol Plus Award.

How does this work?

This opportunity is open to all University of Bristol students and staff.

The more volunteers, the smaller conversation groups, and the more time to talk! Each language will have its own conversation group. Where possible, we aim to offer different language levels such as Beginner (little to no language skills) and Intermediate+ (able to hold a conversation).

We are currently not recruiting. We will be looking for new volunteers in September 2021/2022. Please check back again in September. For more information about the role see the Role Description.  If you have volunteered with us in the past, you do not need to re-apply again.
