Travel the World: South Africa
Tuesday 26 October at 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm
Be inspired, learn about other cultures and enjoy free refreshments and traditional treats at the Global Lounge’s Travel the World events! Every Tuesday from 1 pm to 2 pm during term time.
On 26 October, we’ll be hearing about South Africa!
You will have the unique opportunity to be guided through South Africa by our speakers: Global Lounge Coordinator, Jacqueline Conradie-Faul and her husband, professor of Materials Chemistry, Charl FJ Faul. Brought to you as an interactive presentation, you’ll have the chance to ask any questions you may have at the end! Jacqueline and Charl will share some insightful facts about their home country, including culture, travel tips and must-see places. This is a fantastic chance to broaden your cultural knowledge, learn something new and be inspired to visit new places in the future. Not only will you get to learn something new, but you’ll get to meet new people and enjoy some refreshments after the talk.
