Travel the World: Nigeria
Tuesday 22 February at 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm
Be inspired, learn about other cultures and enjoy free refreshments and traditional treats at the Global Lounge’s Travel the World events!
On 22 February, we’ll be hearing about Nigeria!
You will have the unique opportunity to be guided through Nigeria with our two Nigerian speakers, postgraduate student in International Commercial, Loaw Toluwalase Victor-Ogbara and postgraduate student in Education (Leadership and Policy), Oluwaseun Adeolu! Toluwalase will share her cultural insights about Yoruba, one of the largest ethnic groups in Nigeria. Oluwaseun will focus his presentation on Lagos, one of the major Nigerian cities, often seen as the cultural capital of the country.
Brought to you as an interactive presentation, you’ll have the chance to ask any questions you may have at the end! The speakers will share some fascinating stories and tell you the most useful travel tips before you visit Lagos and the rest of Nigeria.
This is a fantastic chance to broaden your cultural knowledge, learn something new and be inspired to visit new places in the future. Not only will you get to learn something new, but you’ll get to meet new people and enjoy some refreshments after the talk.
