Travel the World: Ecuador

Tuesday 9 November at 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm

Register to attend this free in-person event.

Be inspired, learn about other cultures and enjoy free refreshments and traditional treats at the Global Lounge’s Travel the World events! Every Tuesday from 1 pm to 2 pm during term time.

On 9 November, we’ll be hearing about Ecuador!

You will have the unique opportunity to be guided through Ecuador with our speaker, Veterinary School staff member, Carlos Ayala. Ecuador is where the equatorial line starts and ends! With 13 nationalities co-habiting within this incredible country, with mountains, stunning beaches (including the Galapagos) Islands), jungle and cloudy forest, Ecuador is one of the most biodiverse countries in South America!

Brought to you as an interactive presentation, you’ll have the chance to ask any questions you may have at the end! Carlos will share some key fascinating facts and figures, recommend 10 top places to visit, and tell you the most useful travel tips before you visit Ecuador.

This is a fantastic chance to broaden your cultural knowledge, learn something new and be inspired to visit new places in the future. Not only will you get to learn something new, but you’ll get to meet new people and enjoy some refreshments after the talk.
