Think Global: Women in the Nigerian tech industry

Friday 5 November at 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm

Learn something new about our complex and wonderful world, with the Think Global series.

Students and staff will present a topic of cultural interest with a global theme ranging from societal changes and environmental risks, to international relations and scientific advances.

Brought to you as an interactive presentation, you’ll have the chance to ask any questions you may have at the end. Not only will you get to find out about globally relevant subjects, but you’ll get to meet new people and enjoy some refreshments after the talk.

Jennifer Dumle Daniel is a researcher of Innovation and Entrepreneurship focusing on how more African women can be alleviated out of poverty through technology entrepreneurship. Jennifer will be sharing the premise for her research work on the factors for success for women in the Nigerian tech startup ecosystem.
