The Global Lounge, in collaboration with the University, invite you to enjoy a fun morning exploring the vibrant city of Bristol with your fellow summer students.

At this friendly, informal event you will have a guided walking tour of the city, led by a Global Lounge Ambassador. As well as discovering the city’s hidden treasures and top sights, the tour will stop at a cosy Bristol café for a hot drink and some delicious cakes and pastries.

During the tour you will have the chance to meet new friends from all over the globe in a relaxed setting, while learning more about what city has to offer; from world-famous street art, to fabulous local cafes and art galleries, there’s a lot to discover.

Finishing at Bristol’s state of the art shopping centre, Cabot Circus, you can continue to explore, or head back to your accommodation for a well-earned rest.

During our friendly, informal walking tour you will have the chance to:

• Learn about the vibrant city of Bristol and it’s hidden gems
• Meet your fellow pre-sessional students
• Enjoy a delicious hot drink and cake at a traditional Bristol café

The tour will begin at the Richmond Building, the home of the University of Bristol’s Student Union.

This event is free and open to students on pre-sessional courses. Availability is limited and booking is essential to guarantee your place.
